12 Weeks/83 Days/1992 Hours Till Christmas

It's SCARY how fast time is flying by!

Speaking of scary, have you started your countdown yet? I'm feeling so PUMPED about this holiday season!

  • Got my command center all set up (honestly it's just a drawer in my office)

  • Gathered my brain dump sheets full of thoughts and ideas I didn't really know I wanted to do until I sat down and got it all out

  • Printed off my neighbor gift tags

  • Ordered my blank holiday cards to have on hand

  • Designed all the personalized ornaments for those on my list and I'm ready to cut them this week

Those aren't big tasks all by themselves, but save them up until after Thanksgiving and that makes for one LONG list!

They say the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. But if you didn't do that, no worries! Start where you are now. You'll be glad later that you did. So if you haven't started on the countdown tasks, no worries! Start where you are now. You'll be glad later that you did!

TASK

Look at your brain dump pages. Put everything you wrote down into separate lists. (Notebook, binder, digital notes app...)

  • To Do

  • Gift List

  • Food

  • Quotes, Talks, Articles

  • Parties

  • Etc.

When a new idea comes to mind, put in on the appropriate list. The list doesn't mean you HAVE to do what's on them. It's just nice to have a place to keep your options and thoughts.

TASK

Let's work on your gift list again. Last week we covered service providers, teachers, neighbors and bosses. This week we're going to look at those close to you.

Start thinking about what you're going to give as gifts. Some are an easy purchase but some might take some time to get in. Especially now with how long shipping is taking.

Are you going to DIY anything? It's definitely time to start working on those.

Now let's be honest, you've all given your mom or grandma the digital picture frame. Right? And SNL let us know how mom feels about the ROBE. Try to remember that she is a person with interests. If she's a crafty girl, I've got the PERFECT GIFT for her.

Give her this super cute DIY Ladder Kit and a gift card to her favorite craft store!

Paint it yourself or let her do it! Even better, get two and do it together!

We have inserts for every season and holiday.

(Now you know what to get her for her birthday and Mother's Day too! You're Welcome.)

EXTRA CREDIT TASK

While we're talking about decor, I have an EXTRA CREDIT TASK for you this week.

Chances are you're putting up your Halloween decorations. Might I suggest that you clean out the old decor? There seems to always be things left in the bins that I just don't want to put up anymore. Instead of putting them back in the bin "just in case", donate them or throw them away. It's probably time.

If you're in the market for NEW decor. I've got you covered there too!

These DIY kits and personalized signs will add the perfect touch to your holiday decor.

Head on over to our Facebook Group and let us know what have been some of your best gifts to give or receive. You may find some great ideas from our other members or be the inspiration that someone else needs!

Helpful Hint: If you missed a post, you can find them all on my BLOG.

I bought my Christmas cards and decided what my neighbor gifts will be. These tasks will relieve my brain of having to think of what I need to do. Thanks!
